Office hours by appointment (and please contact me as early as possible; I’m happy to make time for you but have a very full schedule given the several hats I wear).
If you have an immediate question, please contact the reference desk at 559.278.2174.  I am happy to work with you to focus your research question, select the proper databases, or search the library abstracting and indexing databases effectively and look forward to setting up an appointment to do so.  If you have questions about gaining access to a database, are having problems with a search and need immediate feedback, or want a question answered quickly, please contact the reference desk for timely help.

New Office – KSOEHD 407

I’ve moved from KSOEHD 471 to a room down the halll (room 407) that I’d been planning to call “the undisclosed location” or “the underground bunker” until I realized that people may actually want to be able to find me in the building. Again my fiendish plans get thwarted. Drat!

Because of the small size of my new office, I’ll be holding office hours in INTERESC (Room 420) since there are computers readily available there. For individual consultations, we can meet in my office.

Summer Hours

With the Library now under construction, I now have an office in room 471 at the Kremen School of Education and Human Development. I’ll be around this summer for faculty who want to meet about publications, to teach classes, or to meet with students. It’s best to email me to set up a meeting time (or, if your schedule is hectic, call me at 278-5182 and let me know when I can call you so we can figure out a time to meet).

I will be at a meeting at CSU Maritime on Wednesday and Thursday and will not hold office hours February 6.

Collection Development

I’m reviewing the collection development policy for the Kremen School of Education and Human Development along with Colleen Torgerson.  We started this review in Fall of 2007 and will be completing it before June, 2008.
